Regulatory information for food and dietary supplements is scattered across agencies and datasets. Labeling standards, ingredient data and hazard information each live in a different format on a different update cycle.
A practitioner moves between windows and checks reference dates by hand, and anything missed along the way surfaces late.
Search is deterministic. AI interprets. People confirm.
We structure the data in three layers: norm, fact and hazard. The norm layer holds standards set by statute and notice, the fact layer holds public information on ingredients and products, and the hazard layer holds hazard and recall information.
Search is deterministic: the same question returns the same evidence. The LLM only interprets, verifies and ranks what search returned, and the structure prevents it from producing an answer without a source. The sources are government public data and statutory information.

In a regulated domain, a plausible wrong answer is more dangerous than silence.
Every result carries its source and reference date.
Rules change, and information with no date cannot be used for a decision.
Official data and external references stay separate.
If the two are mixed, the reader cannot tell which level of trust applies.
The system is in development. We are validating the design in a working environment with a domestic dietary-supplement manufacturer, running a labeling-review pipeline across multiple products. A human reviewer makes the final confirmation.
